Created for the Animated Women UK Limitless Exhibition, 'Silent Sigh' depicts a large scale puppet designed as a physical embodiment of a puppet’s soul. 
Its size shifts the usual relationship between puppet and puppeteer, suggesting autonomy rather than control. The visible construction highlights both its materiality and its symbolic role, prompting viewers to consider where a puppet’s “life” is located within its body, its manipulation or the spirit it is imagined to possess.
