‘Spirit of Creativity’ was a five-day project that challenged BA Animation and Visual Effects students to design and build wearable characters.
Held in Norwich University of the Arts’ spacious Banking Hall, the project guided students through a series of ambitious creative workshops covering character design, movement, projections, sewing, hot-wire cutting, and soundscape creation.
Working in collaborative teams, students brought their ideas to life using foam, fabric, and found materials. The project culminated in a live performance on the Banking Hall stage, featuring music and visuals created by the students.
The celebration continued with a parade through the streets of Norwich and an augmented reality (AR) showcase of the characters.
